"Like colors shifting in the light as it falls on a woman’s face at sunset, the colors of Evolution Revolution Lipglass are beautiful and complex — from some angles, pink; from others, peachy gold. Green Way to Store Your Makeup Brushes

Its always great when you find ways to reuse things you wouldn't typically think are reusable! My brushes are usually laying all over the place, I lose them and don't remember where I put there. So I've been trying to figure out a way to store my brushes without messing up the brush itself or flattening it when it should be fluffy. So I started laying them on my bathroom sink which ended up being an even bigger hassle then I imagine because they took up more space then I had anticipated!! So I rummaged all around my house for something I could use that would store them in a convient, space saving, non-time consuming way.

I found this big plastic bag filled, and I mean FILLED with baby food jars(yes I have a son Kelvin) and I thought these are PERFECT for my brushes. I sit this on the corner of my bathroom sink, it makes it much easier to access my brushes, store them and put them away without any hassle. I love reusing things.

What do you do with or use during your makeup routine that is green? Did you do your daily dose of Green today?

GO GREEN! Help our Earth stay healthy!!!

MAC- Teddy Eye Kohl- I HEART you!

Teddy Eye Kohl by MAC is a beautiful Bronze that does have a bit of sparkle to. Which makes it perfect for any look. I like to pair this with Sparkle Neely, Sparkle! by Amber Katz(MAC). You can smudge out this eye kohl to create a smokey look, or go bold. It can travel a bit down your eyes so to avoid that I recommend setting it with an eyeshadow.

Teddy Eye Kohl costs US$14.50, every time I hear Teddy I instantly think of my fluffy adorable stuff Teddy Bears from when I was a little girl. This eyeliner is definitely a popular product from MAC, you should atleast have one bronze eyeliner in your makeup bag. You will not be disappointed with this color I can tell you that, I use it every time I do my makeup whether its for a day look or a night look IT WORKS!  You can check out Teddy and all of his Eye Kohl friends here MAC Eye Kohl

I <3 Teddy Eye Kohl

What do you think about MAC eye kohls? Do you like eye kohls? What do you think about Teddy?

Sparkle Neely, Sparkle -MAC created by Amber Katz

When I saw the promotion pictures for this eyeshadow, I instantly fell in love with this color. I love browns, and that fact that this isn't a typical boring brown color makes it that much better. This eyeshadow is from the Bloggers Obsession Collection by MAC. Sparkle Neely, Sparkle is a deep rusty brown with champagne glitter and its finish is Veluxe Pearl. The cost is 14.50$US Limited Edition EXCLUSIVELY sold online only. If your a fan of natural colors but want to mix it up a bit this color does the trick beautifully. Worth having in your makeup collection, I use this 90% of the time.

"Sparkle Neely, Sparkle is inspired by my favorite campy film, “Valley of the Dolls.” I can’t think of one time when the big-haired, heavily lined eyes and 60s glamour of characters Neely, Anne and Jennifer wasn’t my beauty goal. The champagne glitter evokes the Hollywood sceneyness of the movie, while the deep shade of brown represents the seedy darkness of the drugs all three women fall prey to in the film. I envision the shade working well as a liner, but also as a smoky eye or cat-eye effect. "-Credit-Amber Katz(BeautyBloggingJunkie)

Would you wear this eyeshadow? Is there something you already have in your makeup collection that this reminds you of?

I Wanna See Your Peacock- Urban Decay Preen Palette

"Preen yourself with this fanciful array of shades...perfect for birds both daring & demure."- Urban Decay Cosmetics

The Preen Palette is nothing shy of colorful, vivid & fun colors. Included are 6 eye shadows, 1 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil, and 1 Eyeshadow Primer Potion. When I first saw this palette I went googoo gaga! This palette initially costs 30$ but it was on sale for 10$, I tried to find it on the Urban Decay Cosmetics site but they took it down. So this palette is no longer available for purchase unless you find it at a Sephora store, or on Ebay(of course, everything is on ebay).

The casing for this palette is gorgeous, its a solid matte black color with foil artwork of a peacock on the front, and inside is artwork of peacock feathers and a handy mirror for easy application. The eyeshadows included in this kit are very pigmented, it includes: Snatch(peachy pink with glitter), Mildew (olive mossy hunter green), Flash(purple shimmer), Painkiller(turquoise shimmer), Smog(deep golden brown), Toasted(light metallic taupe). Snatch is from the Midnight Cowboy Palette & Book of Shadows Vol. 3, Toasted is from the Naked Palette, Smog is also from the Naked Palette & Book of Shadow Vol. 3. & Vegan Palette, Mildew is from the Dangerous Palette & Ammo Shadow box... If I continued it would be long and frustrating.  All of these colors are very pigmented, as are all of UD's eyeshadows.

Urban Decay is constantly repromoting  their shades in every palette/shadow box they come out with. Its great to see the colors you love so much but there is a limit, and I would LOVE to see some new, even more amazing colors from Urban Decay! Who's with me?! (crowd cheers WE ARE!!). You could do so many looks with this palette it is mind numbing!

Urban Decay's EyeShadow Primer Potion is THE best, and I mean THE best I have tried other stuff, it just wasn't living up to UD's eye primer. When ever I use this eye primer my eye shadow/eyeliner lasts ALL DAY without creases and without fading. The 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero(black) is most certainly 24/7, I wear it on my lower lash lines because that is the first place my makeup smudges, and this lasts all day for me without the unwanted smudging that may occur.

Would you want this palette if Urban Decay didn't take it off their website? Which colors are your favorite ? Anything you already own? What kind of colors would you like to see Urban Decay come out with?

AfterGlow Glide-on Cheek Tint- Urban Decay

It pains my eyes & mind to say this, but Afterglow Glide-On Cheek Tint from Urban Decay was definitely a hit and miss. Now the one that I received was a sample, thank gosh for that or else I would have wasted precisely 24$ big ones on this. I have been wanting to buy this for some time but I held off, getting this sample was a definite money saver. The only good thing I can say about this product is the color in the pan and the fact that it has Vitamins A,E & C in the formula. This Tint is very sheer, it is buildable but it takes quite a long time to build up the color. I had to keep applying and applying this cheek tint to even have a hint of color to my cheek. It looked like I did all that work for nothing, because you couldn't tell I had anything on my cheeks. The color I received was Quickie and don't get me wrong it is a beautiful color, I just wish the color pay off was worth it, and that it wasn't so sheer.

You can check it out at Sephora.com or in stores and also at Urban Decay Cheek Tint

Color looks good here..but remind you it took about a good 20-25minutes just to get that amount of color pay off!

Have you purchased any of the AfterGlow Glide-On Cheek Tints? Did they work for you? Were you thinking about trying this product out? Are you saying Forgetttah Boutttt it now?

Profusion Colour Me Glow

I took an innocent trip to my local drugstore to pick up some diapers for my little man Kelvin, and while I was on the diaper hunt, I walked past this display that was showcasing about 5 different palettes by Profusion and the thing that caught my eye was they were only 1$. I thought to myself that is crazy 1$ for 12 eye shadows?! This can't be, sure enough it was I decided to chose out 2 palettes out of the 5 and was on my way. When I got home I couldn't wait to test these out, I immediately walked to our bathroom very fast paced. When I opened it up I immediately noticed that in palette 2 & 4 all of the colors were the EXACT same except for 4.. I was like what a rip off but I digressed, considering they only cost 1$.

Also the palettes come with a sponge applicator, the eye shadows do not disappoint in the pigment department, they are very intense and the color shows through. They are very soft though i made the mistake of pressing really fast and hard onto one of the eye shadow pans and I swiped out a chunk of eye shadow. Since they are very soft, there is alot of fallout I mean a complete mess, I had more eye shadow on my cheek then I did on my eye.
The colors are beautiful & pigmented but its to much of hassle, I tried every thing I could think of to eliminate the fallout (and I mean EVERYTHING) but nothing helped. This was definitely a miss but not a waste of money because it was very inexpensive.

Palette 02

Palette 04- From left to right the only different colors are #5, 6, 10, & 12

If you are interested in these palettes you can find them on Amazon but they sell them for 3$ and up PLUS shipping..so I say look at your local drugstores!

Embrace the Rollergirl In You

Urban Decay Cosmetics always have very fun palettes and cosmetics in general. The names they chose and the vibrant colors and the Rollergirl Palette is just that. It has four funky fresh eye shadows( not really Funky but hey rollergirl makes me think of the '70s) This palette is perfect for traveling it magnetically shuts closed, and also has a nifty spot to put your eyeliner.

The Rollergirl Palette includes 4 funky fresh eye shadows, 1 24/7 Glide-on eyeliner, and a Lip Junkie Lipgloss. The colors are very pigmented, easy to blend, and apply smoothly. Its covered in pictures of a Rollergirl, and is very cute. This is a must have to have in your makeup stash.

Today I was full on RollerGirl in all her glory, I wore everything included in this palette and the lipgloss paired with the eye shadow and eye liner is just a remarkably gorgeous look for day & night. You can pair up or triple or quadruple up these colors it doesn't matter they all still work fantastically with each other. So many looks with just 4 eye shadows? YEAH. The four eyeshadows included are Woodstock(hot pink), Darkhorse(smoldering brown), Suspect(copper), & Verve(pale oyster shimmer)

This palette costs exactly 32.00$, I have looked through all of the ingredients for everything included in this palette and I saw absolutely no parabens which is a good thing. Urban Decay is almost Animal Cruelty FREE! So if you like the looks of this palette but your not to sure on the price, them being cruelty free products should have definitely convinced you to get it. Some of you may think that bright, vibrant pink is scary and you would never have a time to wear it? well that is where you would be wrong, paired with these 3 other amazing neutral eye shadows this look is great for any time, day, & occasion. The pink can be the center of attention or you can just add alittle just for a slight pop of color. your choice. Either way this is a palette you won't regret shelling out the cash on.

The 24/7 Glide-On EyeLiner included is there #1 best selling eyeliner, 1 of the eye shadows was featured in the much coveted and sought after Naked palette, and another eye shadow was in the Book of Shadows. So the eye shadows/eyeliner included are nothing but the best and most popular from Urban Decay. The Lip Junkie Lipgloss(in Crush) of course has that signature peppermint smell, every time I apply one of UD's lip Junkies it takes me to a place FILLED with an endless amount of York Peppermint Patties(yummm!) as far as the eye could see and the nose could smell. The lip junkie's rated on a scale of regular-MAC lipglass stick would be regular I couldn't notice any stickiness when I applied this fun color. It had a wear time of exactly 6 hours (yes I timed it) it stayed glossy, vibrant, and pepperminty the entire time.
You can check out the Rollergirl Palette On the UD site by clicking this link (yes the words :p)

Do you own any products from Urban Decay? Do you think you would love/hate the rollergirl palette? Do you already own it? What are ways you would wear Rollergirl Palette?

Happy Shopping!! :)

MAC Surf Baby - Hibiscus Lipstick- Coral Vacation.

This lipstick was also one of The MOST wanted items from the Mac Surf Baby Collection. Hibiscus Lipstick is a Cremesheen finish, and is a bright orange coral. This color is so beautiful, it applies very smooth and wear time for me is about 4-6 hours. It costs $15.50 for .1 oz. The packaging is just so fun & cute for summer, this lipstick sold out extremely fast. There are still some products online at the MAC site, but more then likely the item you want is gone :( you may also find this lipstick on Ebay(again the price will be a bit more then MAC sells it for but it is Limited Edition

I'll just make this very simple I LOVE anything and mainly everything coral, when i see colors that look the slightest bit coral, I go kookoo for coral!

Very gorgeous color

MAC Surf Baby- My Paradise

This blush is perfect for that gorgeous summer look, the Hibiscus flower is a gold overspray and will eventually disappear. But while it lasts you get a gorgeous shimmery peach blush, and  I cannot get enough of this blush. It SOLD OUT extremely fast as soon as it became available on line and I can see why! Its Limited Edition as all of MAC season/holiday collections are, and it cost 28.00$ Its size is pretty huge (.31oz), so it will last you for a long time..depending on how much you use blush. haaa.

When I first applied this to my cheeks it was love, I felt like I was in a MAC Blush heaven which is why it is so fitting the name for this blush is My Paradise there are no other words to describe how amazing it is, as well as its already chosen name does. This blush to me is more of a coral peach color, it kind of remind me of Peachykeen but not exactly!

If you haven't gotten this, and missed it on line when it SOLD OUT, I recommend trying Ebay most of the time its really overpriced (but it is Limited Edition) so if its something you really really want I say go for it. Just make sure you find a seller that is HIGHLY rated and has good reviews/comments/feedback because nobody likes getting jipped!! haa I know I sure don't. I know you guys are like "Enough already, I want some dang pictures!"
Well I will give you want you want!! :)

The Flower is just so gorgeous I don't even want touse I JUST WANT TO LOOK AT IT!

(Swatch on my cheek)

Did you get anything from the MAC Surf Baby Collection? Do you think its better then MAC's  last year collection for summer To The Beach? What did you like/dislike about the Mac Surf Baby Collection?
