July Birchbox Collaboration w/ Glamour

I was very excited to receive my July Birchbox they did a collaboration with Glamour for this box. I watched the Sneak Peak on Youtube! When I received my BirchBox I was excited! but i was very disappointed to notice that they sent me the package of one of the samples WITHOUT the sample in it!!! I love birchbox, I have been subscribed with them for about a year now and a few months! Its definitely a gamble every month with my money but its only 10$ right? I've actually been thinking that 10$ every month could be saved up. I haven't really been very satisfied with the last few months of Birchbox. Not sure whats going on but its just been a let down on the samples. I can say I am only excited about one product from this box. Well lets get into it!

July Birchbox- Cynthia Rowley theme

Julys Birchbox theme was Cynthia Rowley(designer) and her favorite products!They did a cool kind of box cover for it! So this is what I recieved for July in my Birchbox, I wanted to wait till the end of the month after I fully tested out all of the products!!

 Redken Shine Flash 02- This weightless spray gives hair a brilliant sheen- I love it, the smell doesn't bother me, but if i apply to my roots its makes my hair greasy!

 Korres ShowerGel in Guava-A deliciously foamy body wash with aloe to keep skin soft long after you've toweled off and an exoctically lush fragrance- I am IN LOVE with this after only having it for a few days I made the commitment and got it in FULLSIZE. Since I had 100 points I only had to pay 9$ :)

 Philosophy Purity made simple one-step facial cleanser - Award winning, ph-balanced to gently clear away dirt, oil, and makeup without drying the skin. I was excited to get this in my birchbox, im still ify on it, it is very gentle though & def doesn't dry out my skin.

YBF Beauty- Automatic eye brow pencil in universal taupe- A two in one brow tamer; a comb brushes hairs into place, while the creamy pencil fills in sparse areas. I have added a new staple into my beauty bag, I love this and I use it everyday, and its perfect for travelling.

Last but not least Birchbox always includes a little Extra Something for June it was a Kind Bar-Almond & Apricot I ate this immediately after I opened my Birchbox, & great thing is it has no preservatives in it. Very Delicious!

Xen-Tan Deserves A Standing Ovation!

 This stuff is my NEW Holy Grail! If you are anything like me and your PALE and every Self-Tan you have tried has streaked really bad, turned you orange, and was splotchy. Then you will believe me when I tell you this stuff is AMAZING. No joke, a self-tan that gives me, a great natural looking glow and tan. I thought to myself "How could this be?How could this be better then spray tans? and tanning beds?"

            Well for one it doesn't give you skin cancer and doesn't make you age after so and so amount of uses.  And you don't have to watch some 15minute video before you hope into a spray tan booth. I recommend you purchase this stuff ASAP, because its just that good. I can't stop tweeting about this stuff to save my life. Once again Birchbox has given me yet another product I can't imagine my life without after using it. I would recommend you use a self-tan mitt or a ziploc baggy if you don't have a mitt handy, and apply it in circular motions "Wax on, Wax Off" haaa anyways, you can get one from ulta they are fairly in-expensive and you can reuse them over and over again. Make sure you exfoliate and moisturize very good before apply self-tan lotion, especially your ankles, knees, elbows etc. 

   Now back to Xen-Tan, mine is in Dark and its the Deep Bronze Luxe, it says it lasts a week and for me it has, it just is a matter of up keep. There is a smell at first it smells like Chocolate Coconuts..sounds weird but no IT SMELLS DELICIOUS. Then after it sets in you start to smell that self-tanning lotion smell, but it isn't that bad. You can purchase it at Birchbox.com  39$ for 8 fl oz, which I think is worth it. I of course got mine in my Monthly Birchbox, so I didn't pay that much for it. BUT you better believe once I get through this 1 oz sample and trust me it won't last long, I WILL be re-purchasing this by the end of the month I guarantee you.

June Birchbox Oh how I love you so much!

So I just recieved my June Birchbox, and its always such a treat because I never know what I'm getting but I always know its going to be really great. I have been constantly tracking the package every hour in hopes that it is here already and today it was. I rushed down to my mailbox, and when i saw that brightly colored pink box sitting in my mailbox I jump with JOY. So if you guys have yet to sign of for Birchbox I highly HIGHLY recommend that you do. Its only 10$ a month and you get decent size samples, you get to try out stuff you wouldn't have thought to even buy. They send you 4-5 different things monthly that you get to test out, and your never disappointed TRUST ME!
 So lets just get into what I just recieved in My June Birchbox

          Firstly there is always a letter(more like a postcard) from the Birchbox team included, then on the back is a run down of all the things included in your birchbox with a description and what they typically cost. Everything is very neatly package. I would like to add that its always very cute!

My Birchbox Items include

1. Kate Spade Eau De Parfum Spray in Twirl- a Flirty scent that feels carefree and joyful, and that it does. I'm really loving this smell, I love kate spade and have never gotten a chance to try or buy anything. Im super excited this was in my monthly Birchbox.

2. Kiehl's Ultra Facial Oil Free Lotion- Its the latest addition to Kiehl's  award-winning Ultra Facial line, and it isn't even in stores yet!!! So recieving this item makes me feel like I went to a pre-launch party that only a select few people got to go to!

3. Laura Geller Baked Blush N' Brighten- It was made in Italy, has warm and cool tones. Its a very nice shimmery color. I recieved it in the color Honey Dew. It has a tiny mirror included and its .32 oz which is the original size that TYPICALLY costs a whooping $29.50 but I got mine for only 10$

4.Xen-Tan in Deep Bronze Luxe- claims to be an easy to apply self tanner and after applied it develops to an uneven, tawny hue. I have tried some self tanners over the years but after my last bad experience I was not really into using self tanners but this stuff is pretty expensive so I would say it should be good. Hopefully it doesn't turn me orange!

5. Herban Essentials Orange Towelettes- They are Infused with pure orange oil, used for killing germs. Also says it detoxifies and perks up your mood. I lovee Oranges so this is definitely a fantastic sample.

So that is everything I got in my June Birchbox and I already CAN'T wait to get July's Birchbox :)
