Little Beauty Haul!

So I needed to pick up a few things.. I am almost out of my Maybelline Volum'Express the Mega Plush (which by the way I LOVE) , also my Covergirl Liquiline Blast Eyeliner in Brown is down to the tip haha you know what I'm talking about to where you will sharpen it to the very end because you love it so much. Also my current black eye liner is just not my favorite, I don't like it at all its the L'Oreal Extra Intense Liquid Pencil Eyeliner.. It smudges when trying to apply it to my eye.. not to mention when i sharpen it, since its so soft it just breaks off in the sharpener. wahh. So I decided i would go back to my favorite eye liner since it came out. Covergirl Liquiline Blast Eyeliner its a perfect dupe for Urban Decays 24/7 Eyeliner Pencils.. since I forgot to bring some with me on the plane and apparently packed them up in boxes back in Ohio I have to wait till I can use those again (wahh this sucks big time) and I decided since I'm trying the "Less Is More Method" with my skincare regimen I would try out these Say Yes to Blueberries Facial Wipes! I LOVE BLUEBERRIES! I have heard great things about this brand and this is my first time ever trying it.. Although it is to pricey for some facial wipes 8.99$ geeesh! but we will see how I feel about them.

Skin Care!

 So since moving to Alaska my skin has been going through it, the big climate change, weather change, the air is different, the water is different.. and your probably like " uhhhh no its the same everywere." well you would be wrong.
Back to topic, my skin has just been going crazy and here's what was/is going on:
- Very VERY Oily in my T-Zone.
-ALOT of Breakouts on my forehead
-Then breakouts in random places at a time like cheek, chin temples.
-Pores on my nose got bigger
-And I started getting those under the skin breakouts (where its just a red bump on the surface, it hurts and if you try to pop it it just gets WORSE) yeah those!

So I recently quit smoking(YAY) 5 days ago, 1.) because its just very bad on my body 2.) I want to be alive till my son is in his 80s hahaha :p 3.) Terrible for my skin, nails, and hair.
It has been a little challenging, but I think the first week is easy peasy, but then after that it gets a lot more difficult( yeah I have quit before the most I lasted was 9mnths for pregnancy..or was it 10..)
After quitting I have already noticed that the ashtray breath is gone, lets be real no matter how many times us smokers brush our teeth we still taste and smell like an ashtray. Also that the oily-ness has gone down a lot! I have never had a problem with Oily skin NEVER until recently :/
  But that in some way my dark circles have actually gotten a lot less dark.. if that makes sense to you? I mean that they aren't as defined as before, I look a lot more well rested. BUT back to the reason I wrote this post its because...

Well I have been reading online for ways to get rid of all this oil, and get my skin back to normal, and clear up these breakouts. A lot of what I found is buy this skin care set, or this one. When really these face washes just make things worse the more you wash your face with products with harmful chemicals the worse your skin gets, you think its helping but really its not.. maybe for some people its different but for me its true.. So the same day I quit smoking I also stopped using face products that weren't fully organic.
Most days I just rinse with warm water for 1-2 mins then For another 1-2 mins I rinse with cold water, it removes the oil and dirt and helps my pores(opens them then closes them not to mention the temp change helps make your skin look more awake and not dull) 
And if i wear makeup that day, I remove it with this special home made make up remover I now use (yeah I got rid of the Bliss Make up remover) which if your interested I will make a post about and show you how to make your own.
but since i quit smoking and stopped using face washes that have all these chemicals in it my skin surprisingly has gotten better..
Its drilled into us that to have clean skin you have to constantly wash it.. but i say NO WAY! Back in the day they didn't have these face washes NO. did they even wash their face? That I do not know! BUT if they did.. it was with Organic, Earthly things they made themselves! I mean WHY NOT?! it saves money and your skin.
So after JUST FIVE DAYS my T-zone is no longer over producing oil, in fact my T-zone scale of 1-10, 1 being best 10 being worse.. It was at a 10.5 not its at a 4. That is a BIG CHANGE! The breakouts have actually gotten better they are still there but trust me they have gone down a lot! I really wish I had a before and after picture!
I am still looking for alternatives to face washes whether it be organic or homemade..
I am also in the market for organic moisturizer, eye cream, body wash, lotion and serum. 
I will be getting Organic Shampoo/Conditioner, once I use up my current shampoo/condition.. I hate to waste! or If I find one I just love before then I will probably send them to my sister haha.


 What good are you doing for your body? Do you use organic, earth friendly, chemical free body/skin/hair products? Thoughts?

REVIEW! Bliss Lid+Lash Wash Makeup Remover

 Bliss Lid+Lash Wash Makeup Remover cost 13.60, I bought it at my local PX (on base) but you could buy it anywhere Bliss products are sold. Onto the review, I was really hoping that this could be a gel dupe for Mac Cleanse Off Oil.. but instead in Gel form.. I was wrong. I have only had this for about 2  weeks now, and its just about empty!! Not to mention it does a terrible job at removing makeup, I will have to use it about 4-6 times for the makeup on my eyes to be completely gone, hence it being just about empty. I will probably only get maybe one or two more uses from it.
 I would not buy this product again.. its on one of those Regret Ever Buying lists and do not repurchase lists. This wash/makeup remover is also very drying on my eye lashes, makes them very brittle. So I will have to apply a conditioner to my Eye Lashes to help stop that drying. I do not like this product at all, guess I will have to keep looking for a Mac Cleanse Off Oil Dupe, one that is better or just go back to it.

Bliss Lid/Lash Wash Makeup Remover

I recently ran out of my last makeup remover(Simple) and since I recently just moved to Alaska I needed some makeup remover stat! So I stopped at the local PX(Fort Richardson Base) and they have a makeup,beauty, cosmetics section that is to die for its like a mini Ulta or Sephora!!! Which I love!!! :) so I came across this makeup remover I've heard of bliss but haven't tried many of there products so I figured I would try it because from all the hype blis products sound pretty great! This product was 13.60$

Product description says that it quickly dissolves makeup calming, cool gel formula oil free and non-irritating. It's for all skin types, it also says to store in refrigerator door to boost its cooling, calming, and de-puffing effects :)

Can't wait to try this out!!

JULY BEAUTY FAVORITES 2012

Its that time of month again, no not that time. ITS MONTHLY FAVORITES TIME!!!! Its the end of July already boy did it go by pretty fast then pretty slow..but most times fast.I have quite a bit of favorites from this month that I have been using, so brace yourself.

Tend Skin- for Razor bumps & burn and ingrown hair. I use this for my underarms and sometimes my legs.

Blistex- Cold & Allergy Lip Soother This stuff is amazing! It kind of has a taste to it, a nice one of course, a faint sweet smell and i can feel the soothing effect!

Clearasil- Rapid Action Seal-To-Clear Gel- I use this for those random breakouts I get every once in awhile I love these types of things for my breakouts they work great!

Simple Exfoliating Facial Wipes- I usually use Olay Sensitive Wipes, but I decided to try something new and I came across these exfoliating facial wipes. I like them, I use them on the go when I'm in a rush or after a workout. The exfoliating part is a bit rough but not bad.

Simple Eye Make-up Remover: I ran out of my MAC makeup remover so I needed something fast and just picked this up from my local drugstore. I like it a lot it does take a bit longer then i would like to remover my waterproof mascara but other then that I really like it.

Jason Purifying Tea Tree Pure Natural Deodorant Stick: THIS STUFF SUCKS FOR YOU UNDERARMS!!! It is terrible, its really slick, and when you sweat in the hot weather it intensifies it, and it doesn't help block odor or anything. BUT I have been using it to stop razor burns/bumps for my lady bit.

Summer's Eve Simply Sensitive Cleansing Cloths- I love these wipes, I love using them after a workout or when I'm on that special time of month.(not so special HA) and when its really hot out to freshen up. I'm not embarrassed, you have to stay clean and fresh! 

Dickinson's Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner- I use this everyday and night after I wash my face to help control Oils, and to minimize my pores on my nose. I love it! it also helps with the redness I sometimes get on my face.

L'oreal Paris Youth Code- SPF 30 Day Cream- My favorite skincare line EVER. Enough said.

 MAC Cosmetics Lipstick in PleasureSeeker, I love this color its from MACS Heavenly Creature Collection and Neo SCI-FI  collection. Perfect lipstick for any occasion!

Jouer Cosmetics- These are two seperate eyeshadows but you can connect them together ITS SO COOL!

The colors from left to right is: Bordeaux & Amaretto I love these colors and have been using them alot!

Urban Decay's Naked Palette- I feel like this is always on EVERY ONES Monthly favorites. BECAUSE its so amazing, the colors are gorgeous, the pigmentation is fantastic and you can create so many looks and do so many things with one palette! 

MAC COSMETICS Eye Shadow x2- Baby, Its Cold.. & Woodsmoke. Its from MAC's Ice Parade Collection from last year 2011, Gold Iced Delights.

 Mac's Carbon Eyeshadow I have literally had this since high school! My first ever MAC eyeshadow and I love it so much I mainly use this for Eyeliner purposes! for a softer look.Makes my eyes pop!

Mac Paint Pot in Morning Frost- I use to use nothing but Urban Decay Primer Potion but I don't think I'll ever go back. I have just fallen in complete love with this paint pot its perfect!

Chanel's Illusion D'Ombre in Illusoire- I LOVE THIS! its so soft and buttery and perfect! I like to use this when I only have a short time to do my make up. Sometimes I will also put Naked Lunch all over my lid and then smudge this into the outer corner of my eye and also on my bottom lashes.

Maybelline MasterShape Eyebrow Pencil in Soft Brown- Best Eye Pencil EVER!

 MAC Mineralize Skinfinish From the Semi Precious Collection in Semi Precious Goldstone, I use this as a bronzer and a blush its perfect for summer and gives you an amazing nice natural glow!

Jennifer Aniston's Perfume- This seriously makes me smell so good, I am a big fan of Jen Aniston she is gorgeous and makes a damn phenomenal perfume! I just constantly catch myself sniffing myself when I wear this perfume!

This collection is pretty pricey especially the mascara.. I am very interested in it. I definitely LOVE the names of the La Creme Color Drenched Lip Creams. The 3* Way Lash Lining Tool is totally catching my attention, I am hoping this is something that will work great and not be a dud. So far on the TooFaced Site the Better Than False Lashes has a rating of 3 out of 5 stars, The Perfect Eyes Eyeliner has a 4 1/2 star rating and The La Creme's have a 4 star rating. This collection looks very promising!!
