Profusion Colour Me Glow

I took an innocent trip to my local drugstore to pick up some diapers for my little man Kelvin, and while I was on the diaper hunt, I walked past this display that was showcasing about 5 different palettes by Profusion and the thing that caught my eye was they were only 1$. I thought to myself that is crazy 1$ for 12 eye shadows?! This can't be, sure enough it was I decided to chose out 2 palettes out of the 5 and was on my way. When I got home I couldn't wait to test these out, I immediately walked to our bathroom very fast paced. When I opened it up I immediately noticed that in palette 2 & 4 all of the colors were the EXACT same except for 4.. I was like what a rip off but I digressed, considering they only cost 1$.

Also the palettes come with a sponge applicator, the eye shadows do not disappoint in the pigment department, they are very intense and the color shows through. They are very soft though i made the mistake of pressing really fast and hard onto one of the eye shadow pans and I swiped out a chunk of eye shadow. Since they are very soft, there is alot of fallout I mean a complete mess, I had more eye shadow on my cheek then I did on my eye.
The colors are beautiful & pigmented but its to much of hassle, I tried every thing I could think of to eliminate the fallout (and I mean EVERYTHING) but nothing helped. This was definitely a miss but not a waste of money because it was very inexpensive.

Palette 02

Palette 04- From left to right the only different colors are #5, 6, 10, & 12

If you are interested in these palettes you can find them on Amazon but they sell them for 3$ and up PLUS shipping..so I say look at your local drugstores!

  1. I went crazy and bought all of them (they had the palettes 1-9 at my walgreens) and was dissapointed when I too figured out that alot of them had the same colors just arranged differently :/. Also, I do get massive fallout using a eyeshadow brush but none when I just use my finger and to me its the same pigmentation.. idk if that helped lol. Cheers hun x -Lerin
