Sally Hansen Crackle Overcoat

So I've heard so much about these Crackle nail polishes from OPI, and China Glaze, and of course Sally Hansen. I stopped by my local Drugstore and on a main display were The Sally Hansen Crackle Overcoat Nail Polishes and I just had to have one, I chose 06 Antiqued Gold. Its a beautiful shimmery, light gold.
I go home to try this Crackle Nail polish out for size, I prepped my nails and put on my first coat of regular Nail Polish. Rushing the drying part by profusely blowing on my nails, after that dried I applied a good Over Coat of Crackle Nail Polish and it looked amazing! I fell in love almost instantly after that dried I put on my final coat of clear nail polish. The end results were better then I had anticipated.

SADLY, after maybe 4hours its chipping badly and the color of the Crackle Polish is fading. My nails now look like a crackle mess, and NOT the way it was intended to be. (haa)
Its safe to say this will be my first, last, and only Crackle Nail Polish purchase.

Have any of you readers tried out any of the Crackle nail polishes from any brand? How was your experience? Do you Like it? Will you re-purchase? Or do you regret it?

Love & Lipstick, Alyssa

  1. I have the OPI ones in black and the silver 1 from the pirates collection. They lasted about 4days before any chipping and my work is tough on nail polish! Thanks for the SH review--wont be buying now!
